SAT & ACT Math Formula Sheets
Every formula you need for the Digital SAT and ACT math sections, grouped by category. The SAT gives you a partial reference sheet inside Bluebook; the ACT gives you nothing. These sheets cover both — print them, tape them up, memorise them.
The single highest-leverage thing you can do for SAT or ACT math is to internalise the formulas. Students who pause mid-question to re-derive the area of a trapezoid lose a minute they don't have. By test day, every formula on these sheets should be recall-fast.
How to use them: skim a sheet, close it, write what you remember on a blank page, then check. Repeat daily for the week before your test. After three days most students can write the entire SAT reference sheet from memory in under ninety seconds.

What's on the official SAT reference sheet
The Digital SAT shows you the following formulas inside Bluebook on every math question: area of a circle, circumference, area of a rectangle, area of a triangle, the Pythagorean theorem, the special-right-triangle ratios (30-60-90 and 45-45-90), volume of a rectangular solid, volume of a cylinder, volume of a sphere, volume of a cone, volume of a pyramid, the number of degrees in a circle (360), the number of radians in a circle (2π), and the angle sum of a triangle (180°).
That sheet does not include the quadratic formula, exponent rules, log laws, slope formula, distance formula, sine/cosine/tangent, the Pythagorean identity, or any percent-change formula. Those are the formulas worth memorising — and they are the ones expanded in the sheets above.
The ACT does not provide a reference sheet at all. Every formula must be in your head.
